Being a Financial Advisor and Certified Financial Planner for over twenty-eight years has been very rewarding in so many ways.  First of all, I have had an opportunity to work with people who cover the broad spectrum of personal assets - some wealthy and some with modest resources - and help them better plan for the future.  But, also, there are few professions in which a person can help define the goals and dreams of clients and work with them and their families to build up or conserve the wealth needed to see these dreams fulfilled.  From setting up retirement funds for clients and investing them in such a way that they have adequate living expenses, emergency funds or monies to leave their spouses upon their death.  Or by putting aside funds for newborns for college and then seeing these young adults use these funds to build their future careers.

Since I've seen and helped in all types of situations, I've had - not just clients - but friends.  I know them, their children, their grandchildren and parents.  I've gone through sickness, divorces, deaths, marriages, births and graduations with them.  This is truly a blessing.  While my clients primarily want my financial advice, they know they can talk to me about anything.  I try to be a good listener because there are a variety of personal considerations that go into their plans.  By caring about my clients, I can better serve them and they know it.
